I was fortunate to grow up with fresh garden-sourced food, gaining early exposure to fundamental ways that naturally foster vitality. My lifelong passion for health and well-being led me to pursue a degree in Biology at The University of Washington, followed by advanced studies in Holistic Nutrition at Bauman College and Amino Acid Therapy taught by the pioneer Julia Ross at The Neuro Nutrient Therapy Institute.

Someone close to me battled severe depression, anxiety and addiction and conventional treatments offered only temporary and fleeting relief. It wasn’t until we discovered the transformative power of amino acids that cravings and depression were dramatically and almost immediately reduced - it felt like magic, yet rooted in science. Witnessing this profound experience firsthand inspired me to master this “science of transformation.”

What to Expect

Free 15 Minute Consultation:

See if Amino Acid Therapy is right for you

Session 1: Assessing Your Cravings & Moods and Testing Amino Acids

Together we will identify your challenges and goals and I will review the questionnaires you have filled out prior to our session. You will let me know about which foods &/or substances you crave, undesirable moods you want to improve, what your diet is like and any pertinent personal and family history.

If this session is remote, I will have mailed you a trialing kit with samples of all the amino acids/supplements we will be testing. Based off of your unique cravings and symptoms, I will trial the amino acids most likely to bring you rapid relief and rebuild your depleted brain chemistry. If you are deficient, you will instantly notice improvement. From there, I will customize a daily protocol to balance your brain chemistry and improve your sense of well-being with all natural, supportive, non-habit forming supplements.

Session 2: Fine-Tuning Your Supplements and Diet

We will check back in one week after you have started your complete supplement protocol and make any adjustments based on your response. I may increase or decrease your doses and/or add new aminos/nutrients. A Mind Thriving diet will be easier than ever for you to follow with your newfound mental stability and absence of cravings.

I’ll offer guidance and strategies for success with consideration of your preferential dietary choices. This is an opportunity for you to become empowered and mindful in how you care for yourself. If you have successfully followed this customized program, your neurotransmitter production will be optimized and you will be free from the unpleasant moods and cravings that have plagued you. You will have the tools you need to continue to properly care for yourself as well as your family.

Follow-up Sessions:

A monthly follow up session is encouraged for as long as you need the support. The greatest lasting success in this program occurs with a 3 month commitment. With my help and your dedication, together, we can transform your daily experience rooted in stability and joy.

    • Trialing Kit: $55

  • Session 2 (fine-tuning your program): $115/hr

  • Session 3 and all follow ups charged at $115/hr

  • Supplements as needed by you. The average cost is approximately $3-5/day

FAQs

  • Amino acids are the building blocks of proteins, which make up much of the human body. They are also essential for producing neurotransmitters - brain chemicals that regulate mood, cravings, thinking, and overall mental health. There are 20 amino acids found in the human body and 9 of them are considered essential and we obtain them only from the protein we eat.

  • No, amino acids are not addictive. They are essential nutrients naturally used by the body to regulate mood, mental health and support addiction recovery and reduce drug seeking behavior.

  • Each person is unique in their needs to rebuild their brain chemistry. When the optimal program is followed, most clients need to stay on them for 3-12 months consistently. If the diet is brain health promoting, eventually the required amino acids can be obtained from high quality protein meals and the needs to supplement will diminish.

  • Amino acids are most effective taken on an empty stomach at least 10 minutes before eating. They may be slightly less effective if taken after a high protein meal, but it is still ideal to stay on schedule if you forgot to take them prior to eating.
